Guacamole

(Makes about 1 cup – 250 mL)



Ingredients

1 pc Avocado ripe, pit and skin removed
60 mL (¼ cup) Red vine tomato, small dice
5 mL (1 tsp) Lime juice
15 mL (1 tbsp) Mayonnaise
To taste Salt
To taste Fresh ground black pepper
   

Method
  1. Coarsely mash avocado using a fork. Add remaining ingredients.
  2. Season to taste. Serve immediately, or refrigerate in an airtight container until ready to use.


  • Less salt is required when using lemon or lime.
  • The lime will also preserve the green of the avocado.
